The Lodge offers 37 chalets, accommodating a total of 60 guests in two-bedroom family units (accommodating four) or pool chalets (accommodating two).
All chalets have en-suite bathrooms and sliding doors opening out onto extended wooden balconies where you can enjoy the magnificence of your surroundings.
The decor is both elegant and befitting of the Mozambican culture, echoing Portuguese comfort and luxury.
Restaurant facilities at Protea Hotel Zongoene Lodge include the Beach Bar, open from 07h00 till late, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner and overlooking the river mouth and beach, as well as a ladies bar open from 11h00 to closing, for after-dinner drinks or sundowners.
Sporting and Leisure Activities:
Various facilities are available at the Lodge, including:
swimming - in the hotels` pool or in the sea
fishing - deep sea or in the river
hiking bird, whale and dolphin watching
Conference Facilities:
An executive,?fully-equipped conference centre catering for 60 people is also available, offering a different ambiance for corporate affairs.
