The Hotel Don Carlos is located only 11 km from the Marbella city center, 45 km from Malaga's International Airport and 85 km from the Airport of Gibraltar. It is placed directly on one of the finest sandy beaches in the area.

One of the main attractions of the Don Carlos is its lush tropical gardens that extend over 40,000 m2 with a huge variety of flowers, plants, cacti and trees. Santa Maria Golf and Country Club
The 18-hole course (par 70) offers players a challenging game with view of both the mountains and the Mediterranean. The course winds through the valley and climbs up the side of the mountain. The first nine holes were designed by Antonio Garc’a Garrido, the second nine were designed by the club’s technical staff, opened in 1996.
